Brusson - Orbeillaz - Col D'Arlaz

An easy round trip with little altitude difference, from Brusson to the col d'Arlaz along the ru d'Arlaz, discovering the landscape, fauna and flora.
The rûs were built between the 13th and 15th centuries to improve the irrigation of various localities. The one at Arlaz, for our route, is 12 km long and is still in operation today. There are also numerous explanatory panels on the fauna and flora.

From the ru there are beautiful viewpoints, the best time to take a photo of Graines Castle, for example.
We recommend a stop at the waterfall and a look at the Chamousira gold mine.

    Brusson playground and lake

The Brusson lake is an unmissable destination for everyone. The little ones in particular will find along its shores a playground, a beach volleyball court and many meadows where they can run and have fun.

Those who enjoy walking can walk around the entire lake, passing over beautiful grassy areas and through a small stretch of forest. Or they can discover the small wetland area of the 'Goya de Tchmpats' from the wooden walkways and stop at another playground along the way.
